DLV is a specialist engineering company focused on the design and manufacture of custom winch systems and marine solutions. Officially launched in November 2024, with a fully operational workshop in place, DLV set out to deliver high-quality, technically advanced products to a niche but demanding sector.

The results

DLV achieved over £100,000 in revenue within the first 9 months of trading, with a strong pipeline of further opportunities in development. Many projects are under NDA, so only general descriptions can be provided. Notable highlights include:  

  • A high-profile winch conversion project for Benthic Solutions, which led to further awarded contracts 

  • Rapid turnaround of a small-lift winch refurbishment, completed to tight timescales 

  • A consulting engagement with Ocean Infinity 

  • Building of a 75kW hydraulic power unit for offshore use

  • A bespoke CTP design project currently in progress 

These wins have not only generated revenue but also established DLV’s reputation in a competitive space.
